WEBSITE TERMS OF USE

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SITE

What is the Truth Engine?

The Truth Engine uses its unique proprietary algorithm to statistically analyse data from publicly available sources. The algorithm uses the data set to identify unusual factors that may indicate that one or more reviews are not genuine. Factors include an unusually large number of reviews being posted at the same time, or coming from user accounts with no, or minimal, previous or subsequent history. This process rewards organisations which do not artificially boost their ratings, and helps to repair any damage done by malicious derogatory reviews.

The Truth Engine aims to give consumers an objective view of the probable reliability of a set of reviews (“Result”). This helps consumers form their own view on the Result of the algorithm. The accuracy of the Results will depend on various factors, including the quantity of reviews available for analysis in any particular case.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of the Results, and therefore advise users not to base their purchasing choices solely on information obtained through our site.
